Bergdorf Goodman Window

For this project, we imagined the design of a store window for Bergdorf Goodman. We were asked to choose a zodiac sign to inspire our design and I chose my own, cancer.

My window focuses on the nurturing and caring side of a cancer. At first cancers can be very standoffish and prickly but once you take the time to get to know them, they are very warm hearted. The thorn covered vines in the forefront of the box represent the way in which one needs to navigate the cancers intimidating outer shell to get to their caring inside. The flowers are being watered and nurtured by the rain in order for them to grow. The action of the box is one person holding another who is wearing a large flower covered dress.
