Jungle Book

Jungle Book is one of eight shows that I was the properties designer for Weston Drama Workshop’s summer 2021 season. I met and collaborated with the directors of each show in order to find out their needs and design concepts for the show. I also met with the scenic designer so that we could connect the worlds that each of the plays were in to the props. I then planned, budgeted, bought, pulled or built all the props for all eight shows. This production of Jungle Book had a unique set of challenges because the performances were held outdoors. The show itself was also really interesting because it did not follow the original story and had its own twist.
