Merrily We Roll Along

Merrily We Roll Along is one of eight shows that I was the properties designer for Weston Drama Workshop’s summer 2021 season. I met and collaborated with the directors of each show in order to find out their needs and design concepts for the show. I also met with the scenic designer so that we could connect the worlds that each of the plays were in to the props. I then planned, budgeted, bought, pulled or built all the props for all eight shows. Merrily was a good show because the different scenes were in multiple different time periods from the 1950-70s. It was a good challenge to research different things from each period and the subtle differences.
